QuESt Documentary Clip From ImFlashy
It’s kinda hard to figure the motivation for a documentary covering a figure that has of yet to impact the culture at large. What compounds all of this is the fact that a good deal of this clip is about websites…hmm…QuESt’s still a good rapper.
Blu – Untitled(LovedU)2 x GodArt
I’m a bit confused by the French New Wave visuals, but Jean Paul Belmondo was a smooth dude. Almost as smooth as Blu’s flow…har.
Wu-Tang Saga: Movie Documentary Trailer
In the Wu-Tang Clan’s endless pursuit of total media domination, they’ve come up with a documentary concept. It’s boss…and yes, that intro’s incredible.
Bix Beiderbecke – “Singin’ The Blues”
Bix wasn’t as influential as W.C. Handy or some of the other early jazz composers. Being from Iowa probably didn’t help.
Skinhead Attitude (Feature Film)
Boss. Just boss skins.
Bo Diddley – “You Cant Judge A Book By Its Cover”
You can’t, but you can guess that Bo influenced everyone – even folks that were recording before him and persisted through the decades.
Thee Headcoats – ”A Town Named Squaresville” (Video)
Thee Billy Childish doesn’t stop. And here, he’s pretty bummed out about that and everything else.
Guilty Simpson x Oh No – “What To Do” (Video)
Dr. Oh No gits on the Guilty Simpson remix…what’s that sample, though?
Brand Nubian – “Punks Jump Up To Get Beat Down” (Video)
The group that gave the world Grand Puba gifts us this jazzy track…
Green River – “Ain’t Nothing To Do Green River” (Video)
Granted, outta the first wave (or two) of Cleveland punk bands, the Dead Boys haven’t aged all that well. But Green River was able to take a Clevo punk standard and turn it into one of its only truly good songs…Too bad Mark Arm doesn’ think enough of Clevo bands to mention them mid-set when his band covers ‘em…whatever…
